On a serious note, a really huge storm is coming our way. Expected to hit the capital, Manila at 6PM today (It's now 4:30PM).

The storm brushed Cebu, where our dear Pentaxes are made.

I have been hearing quite a bit about he storm on the radio for the past three days or so. I hope it works out OK for all of you.

And my beef is vegetarian - it is just processed grass! I mean real beef that used to walk about. I think it is good to have some in my diet. Look at our teeth, we are intrinsically omnivores. Much more likely to make us survive thanfussy eating animals like pandas or koalas.

There should be a contest here as well. If this thread hits 3,000,000 posts, an FA*77 should be given to a lucky participant of this thread.

*The FA 77 Ltd. will be truly LIMITED as it will have only the front and rear elements.

So... What did I miss?

Other than snake eel, bugs, somebody calling Iceland a joke , cheese, pain killers, doooom, incurable illnesses, cricket, Jean's engagement, the building of airplanes, and yet another contest?

And what will we win once this thread reaches 3,000,000 posts??

A free trip to the psychiatrist....
And a one year supply of bacon and cheese?

Could you even read this thread if you were vegan?

Good luck. Do you have a safe place to ride it out, or will you be moving to better ground?

I've eaten a lot of things, and menudo was just gross. I don't know if it's the way it was cooked, or because of what it consists of, but it smelled like a bowl full of sewer water.

Many years ago while I was attending a school at Sheppard AFB in Wichita Falls, TX I went to a menudo cookoff in a town near there. Open to the public and you could sample all you wanted. I ate about 3 days worth of food in one afternoon.

I can't be entirely sure judging from that picture, but I suspect some might consider eating menudo as cannibalism. Be that as it may, eating menudo is definitely not something I would do!
