Hi Uncle Dave,
You OBVIOUSLY haven't read through the whole thread.
I doubt if it has anything to do with the K3.
If you bring up the subject again the very moderate moderator is likely to have a hissy fit and bin you for some days.

If fact you MIGHT be lucky and he MIGHT not see your recent wicked post.
My lips are sealed! I won't even hint at the *-* again in this thread. I just called my boss to let him know I won't be in tomorrow. CLEARLY, I have a lot of reading to do tonight. I'm sure he'll understand.

Ah drypenn, can you please change you avatar? I am tempted to be nice to you because of the nice picture. But then I remember that the pic is Mrs drypenn...

Fair enough!
The mod hasn't yet jumped on you, so he might have missed it and you might be safe since you repented before the axe fell..

That is intentional and deliberate. See how it works!

It also works for me every single time I visit the "items for sale" and "price watch".

Sorry to read this. There is a solution to the failed update problem that involves a utility program. I had to use it back in August. You run the utility and manually retry the update.

Steve

We got a solution to this one. Apparently it needed an agreement to some licence arrangement - except Bill Gates and Co did not put any response opportunity (nor even request) in the update which installs when you are trying to turn the machine off! Strangel logic that! Even stranger than some of the logic of friend here.

Here it is, for future reference.

I had salted herring. That taught me that people from Northern Europe have weird taste in fish. I am not sure I want to experience that again, especially in the form of lutefisk. After all, anyone who lives that far north has to be a nutcase.

Yes, we are. And I'm an exceptional nutcase as I'm a native Texan :P

So is mine. And my front and side yards too. The foothills of the Cascade mountains surround us.

Spiders are sneaky.
Yes they are!

I honestly think they hide on the door frame outside and wait for me to open the door, then come rushing in.
That is what they do. They also place their webs so that when you go outside to the woods and walk along the same trails you always do their webs are placed at just the right height. Then as you walk along peacefully it hits you in the face!

Those basterds!

K3 girls? Where?? Pics now! And don't say there aren't any pics, this website is a photo posting machine.
Apparently you have not read every one of the 12,1578 posts in this thread.

Mr. Poitiers (our "French" friend who is actually an expat American relocated to France in the Federal Witness Protection Program) has posted many photos of the K3 Girls, and most recently started a "Color The K3 Girls" coloring contest.

Have you not entered yet?

For those of you guys who has FA31 already, what are you going to do should you win Adam's raffle?

Me? I'll probably trade it with a used K3 and a K50/1.2.

Then, to pay everything forward, I'll raffle off my DAL 35/2.4 (super mint, retired after the FA43 came in)... That's it, I probably jinxed myself now.

Too cold for me! I didn't like my company transferring me from the middle of Tennessee to central Indiana.
