I had this as my avatar (for a very short time) when I was active on a truck driver's forum.

I fielded propositions, marriage proposals, lewd and rude comments regarding "my" bosom, and endless questions about how difficult life is when overly endowed.

It didn't matter how often I made it clear that the picture was not of me.

Oh, and it didn't make me look fat either.

But I was sure tempted to buy a K3!

Its the inherent desire for the livE hociR. You must keep any and all thoughts of buying the K3 out of your thoughts.

Seriously Mark, I, along with the others, wish you well. May the physicians find whatever is causing the trouble and get you out of hospital and back to the Cricket Match!

The hometown cricket is over. It finished late yesterday with an ending that looked like it could mimic a one-day game, with a brisk run chase. But then the Indians started to go cheaply. At one time they had both batsmen on 99. One got out lbw on 99 and the other went on and got 3 figures. Are the 3 Sharma's in their team related, like the three Chappells in the old Australian team of the early 80s. (Ian, Greg and Trevor)

Don't know Tim. I hope that one of them doesn't know how to bowl underarm!

Eh, I posted in the thread, but I figure I've got about as much chance of winning that lens as I do of seeing actual snow on the ground for Christmas this year, which is to say, totally zilch, lol. I actually miss that snow in December, but it just doesn't fall here much and when it does it never sticks.

Win an FA 31mm Ltd: PF 3 million post giveaway!

I guess the above thread won't become the longest one ... as one poster so stated. Ha!

Now for some of the "best of" ... Post number 2014.

It was a fun read at times ... except for the total lack for any mention of bacon, lutefisk & company ...

But that was only on the orders of another of them.

Actually embarrassing. Last ball of match and a 6 needed to win so Greg told Trevor to bowl underarm. Within the rules but a type of ball not bowled in international cricket for a century or more.

Ian was a major participant in the Kerry Packer led World Series Cricket (at least unlike the World Series Baseball Kerry Packer did invite teams from around the world) which turned upside down the previous payment for players. Now they make quite big money. Their school cricket coach once told me (and a group of others) that the coach could remember playing 1st class cricket on the Adelaide Oval (not Tests) for 25c per day.

Mod disclaimer: this thread has turned into a humorous discussion and it no longer reflects facts about the Pentax K-3 DSLR. Enter and post at your own risk, and have fun!
