Nobody is forcing you to click and read it. If it doesn't appeal to you, don't read it. There's thousands of other freakin threads.

The same principle applies here as for your complaint about there being too many pictures on the forum. If don't want to see something, don't look at it. Feel free to use the Ignore Thread feature.

Putting this guy on ignore was clearly one of my smarter moves.

Not a chance! Tokyo would be dooooomed.

This is the truth. I heard from a friend of a cousin of a sister of the mother of a buddy of mine that Godzilla has become hopelessly addicted to reading this thread. So much so that he has forgotten to make his periodic visit to destroy Tokyo. If we stop now I shudder for the fate of Tokyo.

Yes, and if we keep posting, he will continue to sit there reading. Eventually, getting too obese (from all of the popcorn that he eats while reading), and won't be able to attack Tokyo.

Maybe he has the right idea, though.
Yesterday I saw canned beets in the grocery store. I hate beets. I think I'll call the store manager and demand he take them off of the shelf.

But let's be reasonable. It's one of the great things here that we are tolerant of wayward behavior.

Some of us more than others.

Although I have to confess, back when I was in the classroom, there were some students who were just irritating. They weren't trying to be. It just seemed to be their nature. Everybody has to make do with the hand they were dealt. We should look at being irritating as a disability, and try not to hold it against them.... Can you tell I got my Special Ed. qualification?

We need to be inclusive....

At least al the rest of you do.

You'll be better people for it.

Well, paint me confused. What if being irritating is your only ability? Is it still a disability?

But I'll try to be confused in a very inclusive and open-minded way.

I'll keep a cattle prod at hand just in case I fail, though.

I agree...canned beets are oppressive. I feel the same about canned beats.

For some, it is their purpose and it is not good to deny people their purpose.

Yeah I know if you want to avoid the dog doo-doo, then just don't step on it. I heard it all before...

True they need to self actualize as human beings and become the most irritating persons they can. After all one of the basketball coach mantras, is never ask a player to do something he can't do, he/she can only fail. If that's what they're good at, we should be helping them hone their craft. I had basketball players like that. Defensive players that while not terribly good players were excellent at getting under the other team's skin and keeping them from into getting into a rhythm, goading them into cheap fouls, and generally causing mayhem in the defensive zone. Every team needs a couple of those guys. I once heard one of them, down in his defensives stance, growling at them, insults about their mothers and stuff. Next time out I told him to tone it down, it was too much even for me. He was plenty irritating enough without the cheap stuff.
