One of the nicest beers I've had is Hoegaarden Verboden Vrucht. If you can get it where you reside, it's well worth it. I also like the beers produced by the Upper Canada Brewing Co in Toronto. Nearly impossible to get here. Heineken is still a lovely beer. If you ever go on their brewery tour in Amsterdam, you get a free gift if you can prove it's your birthday on the day of the tour.

I've always enjoyed a Becks too. Locally, Monteiths brew really nice beer. Steinlager's not bad either. And, I do like a Guinness from time to time!

Thanks! The wine was superbly flavoursome, the cellar makes wine from low-yield vines. There was a bit of volatility, which settled out after about 20 minutes of breathing, but the cork was in absolutely perfect condition and I feel the wine would happily age another 5 years, possibly not more. I have some 2000 bottles as well, which are certainly better.

Oh please yes. If I can see anything through the bottle it isn't going to make it.

The only lager I can drink is Sam Adams.

I honestly don't much like drinking beer at all. Never did, but it doesn't matter since I can't handle alcohol straight anyway. Even beer and wine messes with my liver too much. I do like to use Guinness in beer batter for fish, onion rings and that though. My Gran she used to put into her soups and stews but I've never cared much for that. A lot of the pubs here will do that. I'm just like "Eh. No thanks!"
