The lottery here in the UK, Camelot (boring lot), never do good stuff like that
So good to see this thread is heading back to bacon!!!

Nikon D3S and cell phone, so much for "whatever" on the choice of camera. She's sitting there telling her students that she can get decent photos even from a cell phone, and supposedly shooting a wedding with one to prove it, but if you read the whole thing she backed it up with a Nikon D3S. She's SO proud of herself for these shots. Uh yeah, I would be too if I was shooting most of it with a DSLR. Yeah, you probably can get a few decent shots with a decent cell phone if you're well trained in the basics of photography but to me this "lesson" is a total fail because she obviously didn't trust that she would otherwise she'd have left the Nikon at home...
To be fair, this was a D3S shoot with a few select shots with a phone cam just to prove that gear isn't the main point in photography. And I think the point was made, even if the perspective is pretty boring in most of the phone shots.

(Oh, and not that it's relevant here, but she's a he.)

I like ducks too, though they are one of the few creatures other than primates that practice sexual assault. I like my duck prepared l'orange.

And sadly he lost. Groth won. All before Nadal's on court illness.

That happens in cricket too. The most well known incident was Jones 212? at Hyderabad in 1987, the second ever tied test match, and the second that Australia was playing in. Jones was severely dehydrated and apparently it continues to affect him.

Also happens in football. There was a game in the SANFL, Sturt vs ? at Unley where the radio commentary recorded a time out on account of the umpire repeatedly staining the grass in the centre and when that was over the umpire called time back on and continued to umpire. That was the same oval which had a demonstration of the Mark 1 tank in 1916. They dug it up to look like trenches n the western front and drove the tank around. My grandmother had an interesting photo album of it, she lived next door, and did her own processing at the time. They often got on the roof of their house to watch the football.

That is shameful, but not unforgivable. There are many of us on this thread who have taken the same deviant path.
