That's like asking why anybody would need anything but a 50mm. Admit it, deep down you need one.

Not you, Jean...:P But its not the first time someone has suggested I need a medium format camera and I just don't get it? I have no use for one, lol. I would not want one, seriously. I'm very happy with what I got!
I don't need no stinkin' medium format! ...until the day that I can afford it, and they make them small enough to haul up mountains. Then I'm totally in.

It takes pictures..... no?

Like Arnold... "if it bleeds we can kill it."

If it takes pictures, we can use it.

BTW, what the heck happened to Racer? Only one forum post since early Sunday morning. :confused2:
Been working the land. Putting in the foundation for this year's garden, and working the soil in preparation for some fruit trees Mrs. Racer has been pining for since God was a Corporal.

We're having some raised beds and decided to use some plastic stock tanks instead of using wood to build the frames. The plastic will never rot away, and isn't loaded with nasty chemicals like the pressure treated wood. It also should keep the burrowing critter from digging about and eating the root veggies such as carrots.

That's it!

Worked out pretty well actually. A nice pair goggles, a leather helmet and one of those scarves like the biplane pilots used to wear.

Yep.

Convertible planes are coming to an airport near you soon!

(Let's hope something like this never happens again!)

You may want to look into what kind of plastic it is. Some plastics can leach toxins into the soil with excessive summer heat. Don't use PT lumber. Use Cedar.

Or, what I did. Use untreated lumber, and coat it with marine grade Spar Urethane.

Here's a link from when I built some raised beds with some info over the marine grade stuff.
raised planter finish???? - Woodworking Talk - Woodworkers Forum

And one of mine. Obviously you wouldn't eat Rudbeckias or Echinacea's, but toxins won't leach.

I have a bigger one further back with Sweet Potatoes in it right now. They're just about ready to come out of the ground and start the curing process.

It's rare that girls actively participate on message boards. Don't scare them away.

You've obviously been in France so long that you have lost a bit of proper American vernacular. That should properly be: "Y'all say'd nuthin' wrong ... iz jest dat yous a minority hear ..."

Aloha Airline?

What happens when the airline loses count of the flights and goes more than rated life. Non-ferrous metals always have finite fatigue life, whereas ferrous metals can be designed to be stressed low enough to not be susceptible to fatigue. So the makers make a sensible decision about the rated life and they do work well up to that life figure. All a consequence of the pressurisation o the cabin to make convenient high altitude flight possible for bulk people.

But he has trouble bringing himself to say 'yous' when he has 'vous' to say instead.

One of the serious losses of the English language since 1600. We used to have thee/thou and ye/you, and then someone reduced it all to 'you'. Still what can you do when the head of state uses 'one' to mean me and 'we' to mean 'I'.
