Stereopticons? Used for viewing small images to make them large, is my guess. Had a plastic one as a kid: insert a disc with tiny transparencies and the view the at large size as you clicked from one image to the next. I know there was a brand name that became the generic term, but that was like 60 years ago!

Stereoscopic viewers, if I am not mistaken ... seems quite collectible here. Not my thing.

Here's why I will not buy a black K3. Never know if the gear will arrive. This is First Air trying to find the end of the runway, a bit of a trial if there is any fog, snow, wind or large flocks of mosquitoes. Yeah, I know the plane is less than sharp but ...

I note in your sig that you only have a sliver of a K3 - if you had an entire K3 (black or silver) you might have got the plane sharp!

Naw. But we have one in the capital village, Iqaluit, right next door to us. Only an hour by air. Friends, relatives and complete strangers can always be conned into bringing back an order. Of course by far the greatest volume of 'Bring-back' is bootleg booze and drugs but that's another story.
