why I won't buy a k3 (Warning: Satire Thread)

My father fought in that war though not in physical combat. He was Navy and served on board ship. He saw combat at sea. Big guns and planes, not little guns and bayonets. I know he was in France and Germany a lot after the war. He helped a lot with the clean up and apparently saw some really bad stuff. He doesn't like to talk about it much. For the record I am partly Romanian and Austro-Hungarian, on my Mom's side. Members of my Mom's family originally came out of Romania, went to Hungary and then Austria, where they intermarried with people of Austrian descent. My great grandparents on the one side, they actually fled Hitler after Austria was annexed because their marriage would have been seen as illegal and immoral. I have very mixed emotions where Germany is concerned. It's interesting that they're on that list as being so well liked considering....

Now, being German I'm curious why that is. Many countries have a complicated history full of violence, including the US (crimes against the native population, slavery etc.).

Rabbits are also food, good to eat, and cute... politics is not.

If you're ever lost in the bush, being able to set a snare on a rabbit run can do a lot to keep you alive.

Then there's Volkswagen Rabbits, from Germany.
