I love bacon! ....when it comes to pig meat, I'll take whatever I can get!

I guess the thread was shut down because it was hijacked from the original topic? I just recently discovered that hijacked threads can be shut down, edited, or locked out from specific posters. I guess it is a good thing that hardly any threads are ever hijacked here...right?

My only question is why it took someone over 1,000 pages before they noticed it was hijacked? Maybe they were on a long break?

Regards!

Oh, thank god. I was just headed into the general talk forum to start a thread like this one. We didn't even get to say goodbye!
I know. And we need somewhere to discuss bacon, cheese, strange Nordic dishes, and the plague

I'm only posting again because I saw that my post count was at 666.
And to say that I cure and smoke my own bacon.

Ya, cause like that kind of stuff is really important... if you don't know about it, your world is seriously diminished.

And while you're at it , check out this beer, very un-American I guess but hey, who's going to argue with 9% alcohol in a beer. As the label says, a miracle of modern science. But you kind of wonder about Bolshevik Imperial Stout, aren't Bolshevik and Imperial kind of opposites?

And aren't all Bolsheviks bastards? Isn't that redundant? No political responses please. It's a rhetorical question, we don't want to know about your legitimate Bolshevik uncle, even if his parents were married in the Russian Orthodox church.

OK , Cheese, bacon, beer, did I miss anything?

Speaking of bacon and cheese; Velveeta sprinkled with bacon bits, washed down with Guinness
