Spam!! I've talked to WWII vets who still cringe at the thought! Love the stuff!! Like ham without the effort!

It's hard to beat a grilled bacon Spam and cheese sandwich. (Velveeta "cheese" works best)

Or a Spam and pineapple pizza with provel cheese! (provel cheese? Google it)
edit to add: I called this a "Ghetto Spamwaiian pizza"

Please I'm eating, take it easy, the first three picture made me gag.

Have a little respect for those with a little more cultured pallets. I mean, it's not like I eat snails or something... I'm not claiming any sophistication here...

That really looks good!!! I'm a Spam fan, love frying it for sandwiches, or diced in scrambled eggs! What is the Ghetto sauce; that I've not heard of?

Norm is out of the room for a little while.....seems he got all choked up over those shots?

robtcorl..You should have your own Food Show or at least a Food Forum here at PF! It is strikingly clear that you are a man that understands fine dining, as evidenced in those excellent photos of what fine dining is all about!

You can add some beer and bacon to that Spam and Velveeta and create the perfect Manly Meal!

Just like the perfect Country song! I can visualize eating that fine cuisine while listening.......

Regards!

Upsetting a cultured pallet made my day!
Here's a fat ribeye for you to cleanse with.

It's a local to St Louis item, and it has a kick!

edit to add, Thanks for the support Rupert!
I will back off posting my food shots though, don't want to hijack such an otherwise informative thread.

Norm is probably out hunting for some cans of Spam to eat with his Velveeta - but doesn't want to admit it.

I have to say that it's got me jonesing. Seriously jonesing.

What's the salt content of that stuff? Somebody read me the nutrition break down on the can.

Can you grind it up and put it in a salt shaker? A spam shaker, what a concept.

Maybe... but don't count on it.

Or maybe praying to the white throne.

What the eyes don't see the heart doesn't feel...

Also, this food talk made me go and make me some toast with some turkey meat (it says it's made with real turkey so it's gotta have at least 0.1% real turkey in there), and American cheese (which is as smooth as Velvetta, or so I've heard...)

Ironically, the time it took me to take the pic, put it in my computer, do some quick editing (levels, fix WB), put it on flickr and post it here, was the time it took me to eat it all. So no, none of you can have any.

That's just not true! Only Velveeta is produced in a Petro-Chemical plant and refined for smoothness....everyone knows that!

Regards!

Even Norm would love this meal...it was superb!

Hash browns covered with minced Spam and coated with creamy Velveeta. Veggies drenched in Velveeta (you can eat the Velveeta and trash the veggies!) and a country biscuit made with real buttermilk!

Some of us know how to eat! ....well, except for the disgusting veggies!

Regards!

He said "beer", Joel, "beer".

Budweiser is to beer what Velveeta is to cheese.

Well, unless we are talking about the real Budweiser, of course.
