Sufficient wine from that nice goblet in the back and your cheese palate would be satisfied Casu marzu. (A sheep cheese popular on the Italian island of Sardinia. The name means "rotten cheese" or, as it is known colloquially, "maggot cheese," since it is literally riddled with live insect larvae.)
Well, there went my appetite!

That's hurricane food. Stock up on it in January, and hope you aren't forced to eat it in September.

You can tell by the sheen on the Velveeta that it is the genuine stuff!
Are you sure you didn't forget to take the plastic wrapper off?

Makes your mouth water, doesn't it!

You can tell by the sheen on the Velveeta that it is the genuine stuff!

The ingredients in the Potted Meat are secret, but if you have a strong enough magnifier, you can find them hidden on the back of the can!

*Mechanically separated chicken (We all love chicken!)
*Partially defatted pork fat tissue (Glad they left some of the fat from the fat! )
*Mustard, Vinegar, Garlic powder (Spices are good!)
*Sodium Nitrite (?must be some sort of vitamin?)
*Parts of unknown parts ( They keep some parts a secret!)

Best of all is the nutrition! You get 12 g of protein out of that tiny can! Amazing, isn't it!
Along with 15g of fat, 950mg of salt, zero trans fat,...and best of all...Zero carbs!

This stuff is healthier than a fruit salad and dirt cheap! I got 3 cans for a $$ last week...I may start living off this delicious stuff if I can keep the Velveeta well stocked!

Try it, you won't be sorry....I guarantee!

Regards!
I have tried it. Never again, shudder. I don't mind Underwood's Deviled Ham but that stuff is an abomination. That and some of those little Viennese sausages I was given that stuff by my Mom as a kid to eat when the larder went bare. After trying one can each I went hungry, starved nearly all day and secretly fed it to the cat. I was hungry, but not THAT hungry. The cat ate it, but grudgingly as I recall.

That's what Mrs Rupert said when she saw that shot. I'm pretty sure I did take it off, but if I didn't, it was delicious too! Just being that close to Velveeta would make it worth eating!

Mag....It is a shame your cat has better taste than you!

Hurricane food? We don't have hurricanes here, but sometimes I pretend we are in one just to break out a few cans of Potted Meat and enjoy! Two things always well stocked around here...Potted Meat and Velveeta!

BTW- Anyone have a guess as to what "parts of other parts" could be?
Regards!

No, this is what is good, a combination of potatoes, onion, bell pepper, sausage, ham, bacon, cheddar, and eggs.

A man with good taste and recognition of healthy nutritious meal planning! As I look around America, and see the size people have become, I know that we are not alone!

Best Regards & Happy Velveeting!

Now, you're talking my language! That looks much better than "parts of other parts"!

Potted meat... Yuck! Now that brisket, potato salad, and baked beans I had for lunch was fabulous. That's real food.
But the pics of wine and cheese by fantasticmrfox looked even better.

Parts from parts!......nothing gets wasted in a can of Potted Meat! Surely this makes it "Environmentally Friendly?"

Regards!

I cannot even stand the smell of potted meat. I'd hate to think of what's in the can.

That's another point.
