I really don't understand this thread? Is it about something or is it like Seinfeld....about nothing? I only want to talk about squirrels...and Velveeta...is there any thread here where that is all they discuss? I feel sort of lost here....maybe that note on the door was appropriate for me?

Regards!
That's the handwriting of a squirrel!

Absolutely not! All are welcome here with one caveat; discussion about anything directly photography related must be kept to an absolute minimum so as to maintain the integrity and purity of the thread.
Can we talk about a shot that made us hungry for Dove with Velveeta Cheese Sauce? The Dove might not add integrity and purity to the thread......but Velveeta sure as hell does!

Regards!

Haven't seen so much posting since you were trying to win Adam's post contest. The thrill is back.

Oh, you are most welcome ... and now we should discuss my bill for that service "like".

I usually take 10% on the money that I saved you and that you would have spent in this matter, but I will cut that in half since it's THIS special thread involved. You see, I am a nice guy, really.

I do have a slight problem, though. Was that a "645Z", 645D" or a film "645", you were troubled by? Please advise ASAP.

PS - We can also discuss my future "666" save/"like" service, but since your soul is involved here, I'll have to ask for at least for a 7.5% commission.

Pure rich cheese?

What this place needs is someone to step up to the podium and provide some leadership!

I've got a volunteer standing by! He just stepped up moments ago...check the EXIF......Squirrels are not hesitant to take the lead...or anything else they can get!

Otis dreams of the day when all the Mods here will be replaced by a single squirrel...handing out free Velveeta, Bacon, and BBQ RIbs!

Regards!

Okay, now you've gone too far! Considering the ribs you gave us when we left, mentioning Velveeta in the same sentence as ribs is at least blasphemy, and, quite possibly, a felony.

Reminds me of the story my father in law used to tell of his school days during the Great Depression...His Mom packed him turnip sandwiches in a paper sack for his school lunch, and after a while he just couldn't stomach them any longer. One day he switched sacks around and grabbed the heaviest one he could find, hoping for a real and large meal instead of turnips on white bread. He went off behind the schoolhouse with the sack, opened it with great anticipation, only to find a hammer and a big hickory nut.

Can you post that sort of stuff here.....there wasn't anything about Velveeta, Bacon, Spam, or that disgusting Lutefish stuff? What is a Lutefish anyhow? It even sounds nasty?

You know, squirrels have been known to steal too....I'm guessing that surprises some, but it is true. The thievery is not as bad as the little "snarky smile" they give you when caught. Sure does make your stomach yearn for squirrel stew!

You haven't truly lived until you've had a lutefisk and Vegemite sandwich.

(I grossed myself out just a bit with that one!)

A dearth of squirrel steak up here so feasted on corned-beef and cabbage. Threw some onions, potatoes and carrots in for good measure. Lathered in veggies with butter and the beef with real, home made mustard. Yummy. Enough left for brunch tomorrow if I can resist it tonight.
