The Canadians are far more serious about their curly curlies. Don't make fun of them or they'll start hurling those stones at you

I don't keep up with single ball sports, just came across that video and thought it was funny. I prefer sports that require 2 balls; bull riding and auto racing.
Don't forget mountain climbing.

You'd better! Those stones are granite and they weigh 17-20 kg. The Canadians don't have too much to do during their long winters other than sliding those stones around. Which makes them darned good at it. So take care!

But not too heavy, or they would've caught on that ledge

The bald guy in that clip looks pretty shocked even though he's no stranger to speed, being one of the best downhill skiers of the 90ies. And coming third in a slalom world championship race starting butt first

It is soccer.

All forms of football involve a longish ball, carrying the ball and body contact violence.
They are at least: union, AFL, league and stuff that comes from east of the Pacific on TV.
