They don't drink beer at the NFL games. They drink Bud Light / Budweiser.

I think they use that same setup for cattle.
Dogs, the setup is used for dogs in my neighborhood. It seems all my neighbors are out to prove how many large boxer/german shepard/ pittbulls can fit in each small inadequately fenced yard.), (lol mostly chainlink)

They can be frightening when you go past, quite innocently on the outside of their property without making any move towards the property. Always scared such dogs might know a way out.

Personally I'm more scared of their owners. People who "need" a lot of big dogs to compensate for something... are best avoided.

Dogs I can understand - I grew up with them, and they are at my intellectual level, it seems.

At times like this I am truly blessed. Last night I was unhappy that my team is out of the World Cup. this morning I'm pleased that my team has won and is now standing a chance to win the World Cup. It pays to have dual citizenship!

Kind regards,
Mark

Mark form your side of the ditch the score at half-time must be depressing. But it is cricket. Who knows, it could be the lowest scoring match in the World Cup.

Yeah, I've played in plenty of suburban games where a routine run chase became a nightmare! :-D

Apparently upwards of 90,000 spectators at the ground.

Can't imagine what the TV audience is in India alone!

I guess they would be supporting our visitors wearing black.

And we must remember that even Don Bradman got a duck in his final international innings. Poor man, he only needed 1 to get an international average of 100 per time out. Apparently he was really modest. I met a man who said he had a really interesting conversation with him about many things, not cricket, for two hours and only when he went to leave his house saw a painting of him and realised who he had been talking to. He used to live near the telephone exchange through which my internet connection goes.

No. I understand how it works. I was more WTF at the fact that he didn't take another swing with the axe after he missed and somehow decided to care for it.

Oh no. Now it is 2/63 chasing 184, after 12 overs and 5 balls.

I used to be quite afraid of dogs - got bitten by one soon after I started school. In my friend's back yard.

Now I am quite comfortable except for dogs that look like guard dogs that are not under direct control or the kind of stray dogs that hang around supplies of rubbish. It seems to make the dogs happy for me to give them a good smell and lick of my hands.

I thought that it was "3rd down & 6 to go" where the pitcher had balked the 3-point corner kick after the high sticking foul during the 7th inning stretch

Now that doesn't make any sense. At all!

134 for 2 after 26 overs. Can't see how they can lose this. Sorry Mark.

2/174 now. Even closer.

But the lowest test innings ever was:
New Zealand2627.00.963v EnglandAuckland25 Mar 1955Test # 402

NZ still have a chance! Probably needs Australian to be employed by a bookie.

Those gulls (or whatever they are) shouldn't fly that low over the grounds - they could quickly ruin a 6!

The gulls get ruined by a 6. Sometimes they get ruined by fast bowling too!

Congratulations I have to watch these things on crappy web broadcasts. Our local broadcasters rarely show cricket, and not unless Pakistan is playing...
