There's one on side of my forehead thanks to a helmet-less dirt road motorcycle race with my cousin.

Maybe there's a connection. Or some missing ...
Yeah, you probably missed one of these!

That's one of those Christmas decorations they put up at the crossroads. What confuses you is maybe that they often forget to remove them after the holidays? Yeah, thought so.

Yes, Racer and JP really push the limits of what science thought possible when it comes to willpower
Well for me, it may have something to do with my having just purchased the K5IIs last spring. Although Mrs. Racer doesn't exert too much authority over my monetary ebb and flow, she is aware of it.

And if there is a dramatic disbursement of a significant amount of funds in a short time, explanations will be required.

But it is not difficult to keep things murky and unclear.

Such as:

"Package? From the Brown Truck? Wrong house!"

"Oh no, I've had that camera for years! What's that? It looks new? Well you know how fussy I am about keeping things in good condition. Just look out there at the cars and that pickup!"

"New lens? Nah. I've had that one since before I met you."

Of course a little subterfuge or diversionary work always helps.

"Just smile and say, 'cheese!' That's right, OK, turn your head just a little bit. There ya go. Lift your chin some please."

Besides, I really do not want to buy a K3. The 'other' camera looming on the horizon is much more enticing.

Someday when you have too much milk and no way to preserve it, now you know to just scrape the toe jam from betwixt your toes, ad it to the milk and voila, cheese for thinking.
