I just heard some rally sad news from cricket. Indian grade cricketer Ankit Keshri dies after fielding collision, four months after the death of Phillip Hughes - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

So unusual to have two cases in so few months.

I thought he was from Missouri. Went to France and had a conversation with a girl that misunderstood when he said "Show Me" and she did!

Looks like the specs thread already has it covered - complaints about no wifi, no tilty-flippy, no pop-up flash, no jillion AF points...

At least (if the pictures can be trusted), there is no 'Ricoh' on the back, and the OP's complaint will have been addressed, so that he can finally upgrade.

I expect people will complain about the lack of a popup flash, however on my... wait. I can state that I have never used a popup flash on a K3.

no tilty-flippy,
One of the drawbacks to aging is that eyes fatigue easily. I read that as something totally different the first time through.

That WOULD be an innovative feature! Yes, my eyes tend to combine words from signs these days. "End of Trail Taxidermy" turned into "Entrails and Taxidermy", "kit lens" becomes "kittens", etc....

I Tend to have that problem with what I hear. I don't hear well, my right ear being the worst. Listening to TV while doing other tasks can be interesting. One TV announcement for a charity: "Goats for kids" huh? Why do disadvantaged kids need goats??? Well I had to actually make a point of watching the advertisement to finally understand it was "Coats for Kids". Then dumber than that was when I was walking into a convenience store. Right as I got up to the doors a big 'redneck' truck pulls up and a guy rushes out also heading towards the door when I hear the driver shout out the window.... "Don't forget the Porn!". Now I'm thinking, Seriously? And they are 'in such a way' that they can't even be discreet about it? Well I figured that misunderstanding out as soon as the dude reached down and hefted a bag of deer corn off the huge stack that was beside the entrance of the store.

And sometimes you read things right and go Huh?
Distance runner Craig Virgin is from a small town in IL, just across the mighty Miss. river from St Louis.
Several years ago a sports headline in the local paper stated:
Virgin heads track team

That's where the multi-threading nature of my brain gets into trouble, because part of my brain is off and running with "now, that's nobody's business and I'm sick of everybody thinking I need to know about their personal lives" before another part goes "whu-huh?". "Entrails and Taxidermy" had me considering how it sort of makes sense since you have to remove the one to do the other and I've seen signs for "deer processing" and then "whu-huh?" kicked in and I re-read the sign.

I hear you.
Back in '94 I completely lost hearing in my right ear, sudden hearing loss they called it.
Last Thursday I woke up with only about half hearing in my left ear.
Doc put me on prednisone and it's pretty much normal again, which ain't saying much, but wife doesn't have to shout now.
Losing stereo hearing sucks, you don't know where sounds/voices are coming from.

My hearing is very good so my wife has never had to shout, but does it a lot anyway.
