In my High School days, back in the 60's, we had a speed reading class.
We all knew that all we had to do to pass was improve our speed by the end of the semester.
So our first reading was r-e-a-l-l-y s-l-o-w

When I was at primary school my mother did remedial reading teaching. She had a machine which would wind the paper through at a speed which could be adjusted to measure reading speed. One day she tried the machine on me and said she had never seen the machine go so fast and was worried it might break.

What would that movie's plot be? Would it be about a man who, holed up in his house with vast reserves of Lutefisk, Velveeta, single malt, bacon and a Weber grill, has to make clever use of his extensive gun collection to hold off an army of squirrels sent by the Illuminati's parent organisation 'hociR'?

M'dear young lady, you would be *IN* the movie! We would absolutely have to include our quasi-medieval Viking swordmaiden... 😉

If my students wrote an assignment that read like this tread I would find myself compelled to award a vey low mark, since in assignments I am not looking for entertainment, but rather a coherent discussion of the set topic. Here the disjointedness is fun.

I wonder what a script writer would turn this thread into!
