ah, Jimi, bought that LP in 67, saw him 3 times.... and a girl I knew sold him cosmetics before his Toronto show.

The last time I saw him at Maple Leaf Gradens the acoustics were so bad it shouldn't count, the first time at the Cow Place at Exhibition place, I was 10 feet from the stage. I should have quit right then.

There are no traffic cops on the Space Highway.

Get in.

Sit down.

Buckle up.

Shut up.

And hang on.

In case you are incapable of understanding maps, all the dark blue on the map is water; very deep water, very wide water.
There are a number of ways to cross, but freeway is not one of them: fly, sail, or swim (but only if you are an optimist - an extreme optimist).
Maybe in one of these?

From Melbourne, to where you could fly (except for your extreme aversion) or sail there is a road called the Hume Freeway. It is freeway by name but not by nature: while major exits and entrances to the road are by conventional on ramps and off ramps, intersections with smaller roads are even more conventional intersections without grade separation. (One of my pet peeves! Grant rant over)
I feel your pain. Anywhere there are improved roads there are designs like you describe here.

In addition to being a very good guitar player, Jimi was left handed. He simply flipped the instrument around, and did not restring it.

So all the chords and notes were played upside down.

A master.

No doubt about it.

Oooohh. An Amphicar. I've not seen one of those in years. (A dentist I knew just outside Toronto had one.)

Even greater torture for those of us who will never taste this one.

Our local PBS station ran a BBQ University marathon yesterday morning. I am convinced that if you deprive anybody of food for 24 hours, tie them to a chair and make them watch that show they will cave and give you any information you want in about 5 minutes.

Now I am totally confused. I looked up misspelt versus misspell .... It seems even grammar proffessionals don't know.

Or professionals?

In all honesty I believe both, err, mispellings are correct.

Then again, English ain't my language

I've used the Sony A7, Nikon D610, Canon 6D, Pentax K3 and I like the Pentax K3 best. Compact and the controls are fantastic.

It would be nice if the K3 came in a similar sized cam with FF 36 mp sensor and it had an option to order the cam with a shutter speed dial to replace the program dial (old school style) but those are the only changes I'd make...love it as-is!

If no FF can be made in similar size, then the 24MP model is fine for me. It is an outstanding blend of size, quality and performance in a bargain priced package.
