Rubbers.
Had to get that word in this thread for us more seasoned citizens.

When I was a kid, rubbers were what you put on over your shoes when it rained.

I'll try and get this thread back on track.
I showed you the bone the other day: here's the meal.

Now that somebody mentioned rubbers, I interpreted your mention of the word bone somewhat differently.

I'll see your ribs, and raise you a butt, a brisket, baked beans, and pepper poppers.
All from this weekend.

Cheers!
Busy cooking I see...
All I have is 4 racks of ribs from yesterday, literally falling off the bone.

Speaking of ribs...
I half heard a conversation on a rural radio show today:- The question has been raised that as pork ribs are now dearer than pork shoulder, the aim is for longer pigs (that is, with more ribs!!)
...and a breeder has been working on it for some years.

That reminds me of the story of the guy who's been breeding chickens with four legs as his whole family prefered drumsticks. When asked what they tasted like he said: "Don't know, we haven't managed to catch one yet!"
