I left SoCal before the serious summer heat rolled in, but that dry desert wind made it feel like being baked in a convection oven

I like that dry desert heat. What knocks me out is when its 45°C and the humidity hits the roof, the main task being avoiding dehydration.

Well, there is always Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and parts of Texas. The heat and humidity will make you feel like you are being steamed in a pot on the cook-top.

Your choice.

Braised to perfection or steamed to flaky, fall apart goodness.

Oh, the weather - an acceptable topic in polite society, unlike P&R.

Today was a nice winter day - could go out in the afternoon in shirt sleeves.

That is winter, but soon will move to a place where the weather in June is similar but it is called summer.

That is just like, I don't know, like selling lenses? I don't get it. At all.

In the Uk cold weather in measured in Centigrade - anything with a minus is 'Arctic' - whilst warm weather is measured in Fahrenheit - anything over 80F is indicative of a heatwave and drought

Yes ... a true sacrilege ... unless it's second copy of the same lens. And even that sale is hard at times ...

Love the seasons, just not the extremes of hot or cold.
But I grill year round no matter the weather.

I let my Colorado granddaughter use my picture taking mechanism while we were visiting.
She seemed to think cocking nearly every photo added interest.

Home on the grill.

The high humidity makes all the sheets, fabric, feel like it's still damp, ick.

Both Racer and I will be enjoying the rare pleasure of 85+ F heat today in the blessed Pacific Northwest U.S. The humidity is supposed to be a modest 45%. It is my understanding that the good folk in the lower mainland in B.C., Canada are sharing in the experience.

Obviously this is evidence of the weakening influence of the hociR and a strong reason to not buy a K-3.

Of course it's hard. It's because it's unnatural. You know that sale will bite you the day your only copy breaks. I had to go a couple of weeks without my 31 simply because I didn't have a second copy!

One of two things. She tilted the image to keep you upright. Or you are a super villain. If you remember the documentary TV show Batman, you will notice that whenever they were in the villain's lair the images were tilted.

There is a third thing I just though of. As your granddaughter everything she does is okay with you as you are wrapped around her little finger.
