Let's get this thread back on off topic and talk about what really matters - food. I made some Israeli one today, shakshuka (eggs poached in a stew of tomatoes, garlic, jalapenos and onion with smoked paprika and fresh mint) with pita bread, black olives and hummus. Made the shakshuka and hummus myself, bread and olives from the local turkish supermarket.

Also, I need to learn more about food photography - these pictures are utterly embarrassing ...

Steve
That could easily be misinterpreted in a thread discussing the number 69.

Next someone will bring Rob Ford into the conversation. Oops I just did. Every crass conversation should include a reference to that man.

That's vegans, the extra-crazy version of vegetarians. First rule of vegan club: tell everyone about vegan club

vegans don't eat eggs. And some vegetarians don't. But for your standard, run-of-the-mill vegetarian, the rule tends to be, if you didn't have to kill it to eat it, you can eat it. Excluding vegetables, of course.

So pretty much everyone except butchers and hunters are vegetarians? That's a rather odd definition

Growing older is mandatory. Growing up is optional (and I too have refused to do so...)!

I got a good laugh out of our young swordmaiden's "likeness" (pun intended) too, thankfully no coffee involved. . And I have to say, Hu Hot is one of the things I miss from Omaha - best MBBQ I've run across anywhere...
