I had some beef pie last night, and it does not seem to fit in your list of pies.

Oh, but I simply failed to make the list comprehensive.

Chicken pot pie.

Turkey pot pie.

Beef pot pie.

Oh yeah, life would not be able to continue if one could not enjoy the gastronomic delight of these delicious meat pies.

Actually, it was late, and I was tired, so I missed a lot of pies on my list.

But.

I.

Really.

Really.

Really.

Really.

Really.

Like.

Pie.

Honest, I do. Love the stuff. Without pie there would be no reason for living.

Seriously.

I like pie.

Pie is good.

My great aunt and my grandmother both made good apple pies, but they were quite different.

In April 2009 I had a good pie for lunch at The Griffin in Loughborough. The pie was a good size served in a porcelain pot with crust over the top, of not very flaky pastry, and peas and chips on the plate, along with a pint of an amber fluid. We ate it at a seat outside, see Google Maps https://www.google.com.au/maps/place/Griffin/@52.7721402,-1.2100094,3a,75y,9...b26908!6m1!1e1 . A good memory of that trip.

One time, at the hut that I used to work at, we coerced the cook into making us blueberry pie after picking a bunch of blueberries. We then had a pie party for the entire staff. It was pretty fantastic.

Sounds nice. I once lived in a college where there was an annual tradition of going to pick blackberries once a year, late summer. The cook there would cook apple and blackberry jam. Blackberries for flavour and the apple as a filler and also for the pectin, to get the jam to set. Blackberry jam is one of the premium jams. A bit like rose hip jelly. I cooked that a few years.

The levee high apple pie from the Blue Owl restaurant weighs 10 lbs. and contains 18 apples.
This place is not far from where I live, I've eaten there a few times, but never tried the apple pie, it is on my food bucket list.
