Well, how many whales have you beaten at chess? :-)

Alright, point taken. I have a rather bad record against whales, two wins against a mink whale and a blue whale (both times with white), a draw against another mink whale, and 7 losses against various humpbacks and sperm whales. Really embarrassing for a fox - I always start out very well, but mess up the end game ...

(Laughs).

And they say poodles are intelligent ... but I can beat mine three games out of five (four if he goes black).

I know there are supporting graphics for unlikely premises to be found on the web, Rob ... but that's pretty special!

I think there is a chess strategy referred to as "The Whale"...

This thread needs more images - and even though this one does not include whales, nor poodles or foxes, it is sort of relevant to the current fleeting topic

You're doing it wrong.

You need a funnel, and lots of lubricant. Then have an assistant squish it in gently.

Don't want to harm any of those delicate brain cells.
