I'm pretty sure those two words don't belong in the same sentence. Slightly further North, the Upper Canada Brewing Co. in Toronto makes a pretty good beer.
Actually, we in America have been rescued by micro breweries. There is actually some pretty good beer around now. Plus, within a few miles (The only way to properly measure distance.) of my house is a store called Beers of the World.

WOW, I own page 1254!!!!!!!!!!

Very true. And thanks to the micro brewery movement taking off in the US we have had the same phenomenon coming here over the last 20 or so years.

The industrial scale "beer" brewers, on the other hand...

(As a side note I always find it curious that the term "American" is used interchangeably with "person from the USA". There are more Americans from outside of the US, after all.)

Not me! It gets too complicated when involving anything more than 1 and 0. And nobody seemed to care much when we rounded 100000000000000 anyway...

I can't do math when I'm drinking beer, and I can't drink beer when I'm doing math.
What was the question again?

If a crew and a half can saw a cord and a half in an hour and a half; how much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
Pay attention!

Notice how "united" is so wrongly used:
When United Airlines united the airlines they left out most of the airlines, even in US.
When Manchester United united Manchester they left out another local Premier League club, Manchester City.
When the United States of America united America they left out Canada, Mexico, Panama ...

When asked by one of his students what the first thing he would do if made Emperor Confucius answered he would name things properly.
