Racer...you have a reply and a wonderful piece of artwork over in the "Math" thread. At my artwork gallery showings, we have Ripple and Velveeta on Ritz crackers......

I'd stop by here more often if the Velveeta was treated fairly. Nothing irritates me more than Velveeta bigots.
The champagne of processed cheese food is doing just fine here.

Being from Washington state I am a Washingtonian.

Using the nearest city to me with a name that is recognizable to most I could be a Seattleite.

Following this logic here are a few others for a US citizen:

Unionite.

USAite.

United States of American.

Okay, that last one is a bit of a stretch. Never mind.

Don't worry. Others have stretched at least as far before you

From the prime reference of everything - Wikipedia - I quote:
QuoteQuote:
The writer H. L. Mencken collected a number of proposals from between 1789 and 1939, finding terms including "Columbian", "Columbard", "Fredonian", "Frede", "Unisian", "United Statesian", "Colonican", "Appalacian", "USian", "Washingtonian", "Usonian", "Uessian", "U-S-ian", "Uesican", and "United Stater".
In addition, there is the much more boring "US American".

I didn't know anyone had suggested "Fredonian" outside of Texas. And Washingtonian and Appalacian would be a bit too local, wouldn't they? Although, I suppose both were more fitting in the early days.

"Colonican" might be a bit dated, too - unless we move from colonies to colons

No, my vote has to go for a suggestion I haven't seen yet: Unisons!

I'm from North Rhine-Westphalia, which in German makes me a Nordrhein-Westfale. Hailing from the ancient ducal seat of Geldern, I am a Geldrianer.

Some of us have class, it appears you are one of them! We don't need no fancy named cheese chunks to know all about delicious taste!

Here is my favorite gourmet cheese delight recipe. One of those little ....wait...let me come back later with a photo that will do it justice!

Regards!

BTW- Racer, that drawing is Copyrighted, but as a good pal, you are free to request a first printing of the original at no cost to you. I look for it to eventually hang in the Museum of Transportation in Washington later this year, so a first copy print may become valuable...you think? My blood pressure has zoomed since Mrs Rupert had last week off and we were never separated for 7 days......so I could kick off at any moment making the drawing a real collectors item?

Ahh... Velveeta! It is, after-all, one of the major food groups and approved as nuclear winter survival food

That's pretty decent mileage! I do about 8,000 km per year and my Avanti Pro Kona is worn out!
