United States of American.
Okay, that last one is a bit of a stretch. Never mind.
Don't worry. Others have stretched at least as far before you
From the prime reference of everything - Wikipedia - I quote:
Quote: The writer H. L. Mencken collected a number of proposals from between 1789 and 1939, finding terms including "Columbian", "Columbard", "Fredonian", "Frede", "Unisian", "United Statesian", "Colonican", "Appalacian", "USian", "Washingtonian", "Usonian", "Uessian", "U-S-ian", "Uesican", and "United Stater".
In addition, there is the much more boring "US American".
I didn't know anyone had suggested "Fredonian" outside of Texas. And Washingtonian and Appalacian would be a bit too local, wouldn't they? Although, I suppose both were more fitting in the early days.
"Colonican" might be a bit dated, too - unless we move from colonies to colons
No, my vote has to go for a suggestion I haven't seen yet: Unisons!
