I have been doing the same thing since the early 1970's.
Not once have I ever paid interest for the convenience of not carrying around wads of cash.
Ever.
Well, actually, I would bet that the merchants who accept credit cards as a form of payment actually factor in the fees to the price of whatever goods or services they provide.
