After re-watching this several times, I have come to the conclusion that the Tele-tubbies are a hociR repellent

Looking up "salmiakki" led me to 'Salty Liquorice' led me to ammonium chloride led me to giant squid (no, really!) led me to salmiakki! (Apparently, that's what they taste like.)
