What a coincidence, mine isn't the fastest either today. It appears to correlate with the weather, on particularly windy/stormy days the internet gets noticeably slower.

Update.
Most definitely not buying the livE hociR...

She is pushing 2160p 60Hz data over HDMI 2.0 to a 40" Samsung LED.
Wife knows about the 4k TV but not about the PNY N-vidia GTX 970 graphics card

From Softpedia:
In order to milk the moose females, the women farmers cover themselves with a scent resembling that of a calf in order to attract the females. They can this way milk them by hand, as the moose believes that a calf is sucking from its udder thanks to the milker's smell (otherwise, they can be aggressive towards the humans).

From Wikipedia:
The Elk House (Älgens Hus) farm in Bjurholm, Sweden, run by Christer and Ulla Johansson is believed to be the world's only producer of moose cheese. It has three milk-producing moose, whose milk yields roughly 300 kilograms of cheese per year; the cheese sells for about US$1,000 per kilogram.[6] A disturbed moose cow's milk dries up, so it can take up to 2 hours of milking in silence to get the full 2 litre yield.[7] Russian moose researcher Alexander Minaev had also previously tried to make moose cheese, but he stated that, due to the milk's high protein content, the cheese became hard far too quickly. He was not aware of any attempts to make moose ice cream.[8]
And I thought all the jokes about milking cats were strange.
I imagine the reason there's not too many people milking moose, is because poor Christer must like his wife smelling like moose, and there's a rare man. Ulla, on the other hand, cannot ever wear Dior, and not only have to like smelling like moose calf, but must also keep quiet for an awful long time, so there's a rare one. Hell, if they can get $1,000 per kg, that's cheap considering the sacrifices.

I've enjoyed Roquefort cheese since childhood. It's the mould that makes it extra special.

Isn't it strange? I asked my cable t.v. provider about that once after one of a string of picture breakup events. He said high winds can interfere with the microwave transmission and recption. I asked how it was that aircraft traveling at speeds well in excess of 500 kts; as fast as mach 3+ in the case of the SR71, can maintain radio contact, but when the wind blows more than about 40 kts my t.v. reception breaks up.
Oddly, he didn't have an answer.

We've lost our satelite connection due to high winds. The dish got blown off the roof.

Satellite can get affected by rain. Never heard that about winds, unless it's something like Mark's situation.

I would assume planes have much stronger equipment and radio contact requires less data than the transmission of moving images?

That's certainly a valid theory, but my theory is that I have a crappy internet/cable t.v. provider.

I frequently lose reception during wet snow. Have to go out with a broom and ladder and clean the dish. It always happens during sporting events.

To my surprise, this thing is very lean/green in normal use.
Running Nvidia "New Dawn" does make the graphics card to crank out some heat. The "full array led"? panel is not putting out much heat either.
So in conclusion: What I have is of no use against Godzilla!
