What a coincidence, mine isn't the fastest either today. It appears to correlate with the weather, on particularly windy/stormy days the internet gets noticeably slower.

And I thought all the jokes about milking cats were strange.
I imagine the reason there's not too many people milking moose, is because poor Christer must like his wife smelling like moose, and there's a rare man. Ulla, on the other hand, cannot ever wear Dior, and not only have to like smelling like moose calf, but must also keep quiet for an awful long time, so there's a rare one. Hell, if they can get $1,000 per kg, that's cheap considering the sacrifices.

Isn't it strange? I asked my cable t.v. provider about that once after one of a string of picture breakup events. He said high winds can interfere with the microwave transmission and recption. I asked how it was that aircraft traveling at speeds well in excess of 500 kts; as fast as mach 3+ in the case of the SR71, can maintain radio contact, but when the wind blows more than about 40 kts my t.v. reception breaks up.
Oddly, he didn't have an answer.

Satellite can get affected by rain. Never heard that about winds, unless it's something like Mark's situation.

I frequently lose reception during wet snow. Have to go out with a broom and ladder and clean the dish. It always happens during sporting events.

To my surprise, this thing is very lean/green in normal use.
Running Nvidia "New Dawn" does make the graphics card to crank out some heat. The "full array led"? panel is not putting out much heat either.
So in conclusion: What I have is of no use against Godzilla!
