Ah, sounds like you have had a few... interesting days. Sure, I can live well without electricity for a while, but I prefer to make that choice myself

...if there still is such a place as "the local photo shop" - at least one still carrying film. I'm not sure I have a lot of those around. Of course, I haven't done much to support any of them the last 12 or so years

Guys, (and Gals) (or as we used to say in Oz before we Americanised: Blokes and Shielas) this thread is NEVER going to outgun the Alphabet thread: it is 3000 posts ahead and rising.

Told you so... Over in the Alphabet thread WP and Noel have quick fingers, incredible stamina, and a seemingly never-ending supply of images. All we have is a bunch of slackers

The first season is awful, and was actually cut short due to bad polling. I just made my way through it because reviews said the show is amazing, except for season 1. They then did a pretty extensive overhaul and it got much, much better.

We won't with that attitude (or math). I make it 23153-20825= only 2328 ahead. We've added 800 posts in the same time that they've done 600 - and that's WITH us practically shutting down after we hit the 20,000 mark.

Edit: I might be off on those last numbers (the 800 is solid, but I'm not sure on the 600). Anyhow, I don't doubt that we can take 'em if we try.

We are of course glossing over the insignificant little detail of a fact that Velveeta is not even remotely related to anything that can vaguely be resembling anything that in any shape, form, consistence, or taste might push one's thoughts in the general direction of an actual cheese.

It might be based on the same concoction that Burger King uses in their "cheese whoppers", though. Not sure why they are called such 'cause there bloody ain't any whopping cheese in them. But there is a substance that tastes distinctly of petroleum based plastic in there. At first I thought they might just couldn't be bothered with removing the plastic wrapping before heating the thing, but I suspect the truth to be significantly more unpleasant than that.

There you go again, confusing authentic Velveeta with imitation cheese. Haters often make that mistake, but true cheese lovers know better!

Here's what's on your Whopper...

That's what you get for doubting our ability to spew nonsense faster than actual photographers can post actual photos on a photography forum site.

Edit: I do regret having to resort to such statements, but The Thread has been too quiet lately.
