Ooh. Harris-Teeter has bacon-wrapped filet mignon appetizers in the freezer section. They are ridiculously overpriced for what you get. The other night, I caught myself staring through the glass stalker-style, breathing heavily. Never shop hungry.

It's good. Last year, it had only been three weeks since he died. (We always go for either Halloween or Christmas.) And last year's Christmas trip was with his parents. It was very, very hard. And I honestly wasn't sure if Disney would be able to stay my "happy place".

This October, we went for my niece's sweet 16 & my daughter's 15th. So, it was my family. And it was a good trip. A little hectic since we had 4 Disney newbies with us, but still good.

This trip is just me & the kids. They're doing their thing & I'm doing a lot of walking and looking. Some photographing. And it's good. It's still my happy place.

The last time I was at the Magic Kingdom, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea was new and was an E Ticket (and "E Ticket" meant something!). My Florida relatives had a bunch of unused/partially used ticket books, so tickets weren't an issue so much as how long we wanted to wait in line for the more popular rides.

PS - "mode" means fashion in French, thus the bow tie (I think).
When I took Prob & Stat, the memory crutch was to think of "mode" as being the most "popular" class (highest representation) in a frequency distribution.

The discussion need only be of victuals, the kind does not matter so long as someone classifies them as victuals.

I've never thought of picking up roadkill, but this sounds quite interesting.

In Americanese, they are generally interchangeable, and in The South, you are more likely to see/hear it as 'possum' than 'opossum'.

Colloquialism...the animal is opossum. At least that is what the native peoples called it, but in U.S. English, it is often rendered "possum" or "'possum", 'cuz that is that is how we say it roun' these parts.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opossum#Etymology

Either way, theys nasty looking varmits, but by all accounts tasty...
