Thanks for the support, Otis would appreciate your reply.

Just got back from the heart Doc...after a month of tests, everything form sonograms to stress tests and radioactive dye exams etc...most likely at a cost of around $20K+.....the report is that my heart is completely normal, my arteries are clear and everything is functioning just fine.

The reason I report this here is that it is all due to my lifelong consumption of Velveeta. Even the heart Doc could not rule it out...he said whatever you are doing,, keep doing it!

Regards!

I didn't mention bacon to my Doc, but I'm sure he would agree? I never knew my grandad to miss a breakfast without bacon....he was just short of 98 when he died. Gravy too...you need bacon gravy with breakfast!

Regards!

Eh, I've done worse. Skills will come. The important thing is getting out there and shooting. As that famous photographer and sometimes hockey player Wayne Gretzky said, 'You miss 100% of the shots you don't take'.

Photos are fine! Bird shots are especially good. And night city scene really cool! And goofy kids a must! One of my sons has become the photobomb king!
But I have to tell you, me and Flickr don't get along!! It doesn't like to load, the big jerk!

Indeed. I'm trying to shoot more. I can't say that I see improvement per se or that I'm "thinking photographically" or anything like that. But the more photos you take, the higher the likelihood that you'll get a couple-three that you kind of half way like.

My photo skills rely heavily on the "Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in awhile" principle.

'way back in my film days, one of the 'dummy' books I read stressed the importance of going back through your shots - both good and bad, and asking yourself what you liked and didn't like about each one. It took years, but I did eventually see an increase in my "keepers" and a drop in the disasters. But you have to have the pix to review before you can review.
