Jim, I'm thinking of that two word phrase again. (No, it's not "Merry Christmas")

It was 4° here, this morning, and supposed to be colder tomorrow.
Whiner!

It wasn't, but if you stand on tippy-toe, you can see the Walmart from there.

This was even better. Party A wasn't even in the spot; she was in the spot next to it, but saw no problem with blocking it with her cart & car doors while she loaded groceries. Party B wanted the (mostly) empty spot, and was willing to blow his horn to tell her to hurry up (it was the space closest to the building, so he was going to have to loop around and look elsewhere, after thinking he had gotten a choice spot). Party A was doing the swearing, which I could hear clearly about a hundred feet away. I think her kids were in the car. Charming.

Well, while we haven't cornered the market on jerks, we certainly are world leaders in the industry!

I slept over nine hours in a row last night. That's ultra, extraordinarily rare for me.

Clearly, you needed to recharge from fighting the bug. Feeling any better?

A little. I had enough energy to go to the store & resupply my stock of Nyquil. And to eat solid food instead of broth, tea & soup!

That always helps. I find a nice lutefisk on toast sandwich with some pickled herring on the side cures most GE symptoms.

I thought that was one of those things you eat on New Year's Day, so that the rest of the year would be easy by comparision!

Thankfully, no GI (GE) bug. A respiratory thing. Positively miserable to sleep for an hour or two & wake to violent coughing. It's the worst "cold" I've ever had!

Washed down with a pack of melted Velveeta?

The subsequent vomiting would probably make Amy's respiratory problems worse, though.

I know LA is not NC, but I was reading the other day that because our winter has been so mild, flu is 'way down and walking pneumonia is 'way up.

Yeah, I suspect that aspirating Velveeta may have a few deleterious effects.
