Edit: HA, it worked! It failed when I simply inserted a smileyface by typing a colon and capital D, but once I selected one from the list of emoticons, it worked.
Well, as long as you pick one that consists of at least five characters when written

I have a similar problem. I have some brilliant and original ideas. Sadly, the two attributes never apply at the same time...

A while back I posted some photos of my shop and the plans for a ceiling.....I'm about half done and here's a progress report....

I know you are on the edge of your seat with interest, but if you knew how much work this has been you'd understand me wanting to share my aches and pains...

How it was on Jan 12th when I got started...notice how uneven the boards are....

One side almost done....

I figured a way to hide the unevenness of the boards with the beams and little 3/4 inch strips installed on the trailing edge of each board. Completely eliminates any appearance of being uneven....but causing a hell of a lot more work.

Should finish it this week, and I have to say, I've never seen a ceiling like it and it is a real eye catcher! When I get up all the trim it will be one handsome ceiling! I've looked at that foil backed insulation for 10 years....this is going to be a delight to my old eyes!
Can't do this kind of work much longer, my old body is wearing out pretty fast, but I'm going to go as long as I can!

Regards! If it wasn't for the energy provided by Velveeta grilled cheese, I'd never have made it this far! Must be that calcium they brag about?

Nice ceiling, but I'd do the paint differently...

That picture reminds me of my trip to Rome. Attended a meeting in a hotel just down the street from there with paintings approaching that grandness on the ceilings. Also reminds me of the distinct impression that the Romans some centuries ago must have been very poor, all the paintings and sculptures were of people who did not have clothes.

Hey!

My ideas are brilliant and original.

It's just those messy details...

They were also horrible architects as all they ever managed to erect was ruins.

Yes, in the words of a French friend when when saw the hole in the ground where Julius Caesar was allegedly stabbed: "pile of old rocks".

Judging from his clothing this guy must be a Roman.

Apologising for being off-season!

Because they had nothing else to erect! Even little Blue Pills couldn't help those guys! No wonder the Romans vanished...they could paint but they couldn't reproduce!

Otis showed this crop to the little blind orphan squirrels and two of them laughed so hard it cured their blindness!
I blotted out the "offending" part, someone deleted my original post...but it was "no big deal"!

If this is an infraction, it must be a tiny one!

Reminds me of an old article on German satirical website Der Postillon (similar to The Onion) titled 'Remains of late-Roman website found'. Stated that during maintenance work of the website of the public transport network of the City of Rome they discovered the remains of the website of a Roman temple dating from late antiquity. The website was apparently hacked to the ground by the Vandals in the late 5th century
