They had websites back in those days? Might as well, they had time on their hands.....and nothing in their hands!

...Otis reprimanded me for not being PC with Romans...until I reminded him that the gladiators had a dozen roasted squirrels for breakfast every day. His reply was....

"If I ever go to Rome and do as the Romans, they will have to cut off 90% of my manhood."

Otis showed this crop to the little blind orphan squirrels and two of them laughed so hard it cured their blindness!
I blotted out the "offending" part, someone deleted my original post...but it was "no big deal"!

If this is an infraction, it must be a tiny one!

People have tried to "blot out" parts of the art of the Romans before (although to call Michelangelo "Roman" might be a tad imprecise). Should you ever go to Naples you could visit the Secret Museum (Wikipedia).

They even have a picture of Rupert there, it seems. Can't link directly to the image here as we are a family friendly forum... But it'll be the first hit if you google Museo_Nazionale_Napoli_Gabinetto_Segreto_Mercury

Won't come up on my screen.......the notice says "Too large for viewing on 24' screen". Yep, it's a whopper, bet it took weeks to paint!

Strange. I had no problems with my brand new 27" screen. That is, after all, far, far smaller than a 24' one

And why on earth haven't I invested in an IPS panel before now? It's so incredibly much better than the old 23" LCD I have used until now. I have to turn the brightness way down not to get a sunburn. The colour space is much, much bigger. The resolution makes zooming in almost needless. Editing photos on this thing is pure joy

Oops, photo related talk.

Sorry

Well there was that pig farmer up near Port Coquitlam, BC a few years back . . . . . . but he is no longer 'farming'.
You know, every so often I fry up some bacon that has a bad aroma.....now I know why!

He got caught before he could commit his 5oth murder...because he was sloppy. Damn good thing those cops weren't sloppy in their work, he only got 49 before they caught him! I bet they are still slapping each other on the back?

Yes, there is no such thing as "cheap Bordeaux" in this country.

Besides, who wouldn't need some potato wine to do that stuff

He's as crazy as a pet squirrel's OWNER!

PS: Did anyone else imagine a seal barking as he hauled himself out of the water and back onto the ice?

Otis is bad company, real bad. He convinced me it was alright to post an obnoxious joke in the Joke Thread and now I have been locked out of the thread. I knew he lied when he said he had already run the joke by a Mod and the Mod thought it was hilarious...I'm beginning to think Otis is not trustworthy?

He also copied the joke and sent it to Mrs Rupert.......Maybe Otis wants me dead? Maybe that kid down the street with a Canon Rebel has offered him a better deal ? I'd miss Otis, but I bet I'd get over it!

Regards!

"and now I have been locked out of the thread"
You've been given a reprieve.
I'd suggest not listening to Otis regarding future posting, though.

Well, I do appreciate it, but I am only going back to view jokes, not post the dozens of filthy jokes Otis is requesting to be posted. I did apologize, you guys all know that kind of nasty stuff is totally against my core values!

I need to get some better friends around here, Otis is a really bad influence, just like Mrs Rupert says he is. Maybe she is thinking of the Canon Rebel guy as a replacement too? I tell you, squirrels are bad for your well being....

Regards!

Squirrel humor is pretty low - just an inch or two off the ground, most of the time.
