That's just a rumor that the Moderators Union started with their "Buy a moderator a beer" campaign.

You know, that's not really a good thought, is it?

Racer, not until the Supreme Court rules they are...we do live in a democracy......I think.

Horrors beyond belief. Hollywood has thought of movies of such, but it is just too much for the public to handle.

Here's a question for you......I have 10 boxes of .22 Stingers for my little carrying .22 auto. I bought them about 10 years ago. What is the shelf life for these, you reckon? I haven't fired it in a very long time...I'm not really a gun person, but I am a decent shot. Mrs Rupert ranks as an expert....kind of scary when she gets too angry at me...but that only happens a few time a week.

Regards!

My favorite they-couldn't-possibly-have-made-such-a-movie: "Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama." It's allegedly a horror flick.

Yep, Otis has three copies of it in case one wears out from frequent viewing.

Nope. Back when we'd get one of those two-inch thick catalogs of videotapes for sale. My daughter and I went through laughing at some of the available titles, and that came up as our favorite absurdity (right after "Surf Nazis Must Die")

Probably been mentioned here before, knowing this thread, but......
Spiders can play possum!
A small one was scampering across the bathroom floor this morning, I gave it a stomp, Bang! it laid there and did not move.
Walked over to the TP, tore off a square, walked back, bent down to pick up the victim with it,
and the little sucker took off all hell bent for leather!
Not for long though.

I have one in my bathroom that has lived there for at least three years. He started out very tiny and now is about the size of a small pea. Harmless and does keep the insects that come in from the nearby back door under control. He loves dispatching mosquitoes....that's my kind of guy!

Regards!

Not for long though.
For unexpected spidery tricks, there's a north African desert spider that when threatened by a wasp, flips on its side, and bending its legs slightly to act as spokes, rolls or cartwheels down the sand dunes to escape. BTW: The wasps can apparently detect tiny scent molecules left by the spider and are quite relentless following after them.

So you have a pet spider in your bathroom?
That explains a lot.

Yep, I like spiders, they are fascinating creatures. I had a keyboard buddy for months that lived on my desk. He liked to spend time crawling up my hands and arms. Friendly little guy and could jump a mile! He was killed in a window opening accident....I still miss him.

I still have a Shop Mama....she comes in and has her babies about twice a year. She is safe in there, though Mrs Rupert almost got her with a broom once...

Some you just admire but don't touch....

They keep the shop clear of wandering critters....

That's a safe bet.
The difference between eccentric and crazy comes down to first person, second person, third person:
I'm eccentric
You're nuts
He's/she's/they're nuts.
