Nope. Back when we'd get one of those two-inch thick catalogs of videotapes for sale. My daughter and I went through laughing at some of the available titles, and that came up as our favorite absurdity (right after "Surf Nazis Must Die")

Spiders can play possum!
A small one was scampering across the bathroom floor this morning, I gave it a stomp, Bang! it laid there and did not move.
Walked over to the TP, tore off a square, walked back, bent down to pick up the victim with it,
and the little sucker took off all hell bent for leather!
Not for long though.

For unexpected spidery tricks, there's a north African desert spider that when threatened by a wasp, flips on its side, and bending its legs slightly to act as spokes, rolls or cartwheels down the sand dunes to escape. BTW: The wasps can apparently detect tiny scent molecules left by the spider and are quite relentless following after them.

Yep, I like spiders, they are fascinating creatures. I had a keyboard buddy for months that lived on my desk. He liked to spend time crawling up my hands and arms. Friendly little guy and could jump a mile! He was killed in a window opening accident....I still miss him.

I still have a Shop Mama....she comes in and has her babies about twice a year. She is safe in there, though Mrs Rupert almost got her with a broom once...

Some you just admire but don't touch....

They keep the shop clear of wandering critters....
