It wasn't my fault! When I posted this last night the whole system went into shock and threw a "database error" at me. I tried again, and was rebuffed for posting duplicate postings - then I got nothing but database errors for a long while. When Adam finally woke up and started doing his job again my post was nowhere to be seen. So I tried posting again - and got yet another "duplicate postings" warning. I gave up.

And then, this morning, the underground guerrilla squirrels had plastered this thread with lots of posts

Brace yourselves...

No PENTAX to be seen anywhere.

Sorry.

PENTAX is dooooomed™

Let's be very careful there Savoche........Otis is Adam's biggest supporter and friend and though the feeling may not be mutual(), Otis considers any negativity toward Adam as an attack on squirrels. You do know how Otis goes after those Jumpers.....?
It is much more likely, according to Otis, that Adam was in deep concentration coming up with ways to make PF even more fantastic than it already is. ........and he says you should be ashamed, and you'd better be!

Regards!

Today's breakfast from leftovers.
Asparagus, onion, provolone cheese omelette, topped with tri tip (beef from the sirloin) on garlic bread.

The leftovers were from yesterday's cook on my newly acquired 26" dia, Weber kettle.

If you all get tired of my grilled food shots please say so and I'll stop, since I know this thread isn't about fauxtography.

Oh yeah...in a serious thread like this we demand obedience to the original subject matter...whatever that was?

That looks ugly enough to eat....maybe I'd prefer ham, but I'd eat it like it is anyhow!

Savoche....Otis says that if you don't give Adam a public apology, plastered posts will be the least of your problems...and he looked damn serious.....sorta like this but with a little growl as he spoke.....

Don't blame me, I'm just the messenger...just sayin'.......

Maybe you should give Otis some Velveeta to calm him down and then explain irony to him, since he is taking such offense at something said in jest.

Otis is a serious squirrel...and since this is a serious place (we all know and respect that!)...I can't afford to lose my acceptance here by challenging Otis. I'm sure that if Savoche gets a lifetime ban, and is publicly castigated...or even castrated...Otis will be fully satisfied!

However I will load up some Velveeta with walnut pieces and see if it has any calming properties with Otis! Maybe some of that Ghost Pepper cheese would be better suited to his temperament?

Regards!

I don't really see anything to apologise for. I mean, in my book, saying that anyone does his job at all is high praise! I can live with the mañana attitude, no problem!

Ah... I'm not sure anyone who thinks of Velveeta as cheese would be able to grasp the concept of irony

(The above statement was given purely to illustrate the difference between irony and sarcasm!)

It should be okay. There's only one kind of squirrel in Norway, and Wiki says:

Unlike some other rodents, the Eurasian red squirrel is not a direct threat to humans.

Gosh, I wonder what "other rodent" they might be talking about?

I see your point....but Otis is not a Velveeta fan...he swears it is the droppings of big yellow birds.

Anyhow, you can deal with Otis..I'm staying out of it...once I heard that castration stuff, I knew it was time to step aside.

Regards!
