I had to look it up...never heard of them. We don't have any around here but we do have something sort of similar. The pretty large Mexican population in my area makes and sells a lot of tamales.....beef, chicken, and a few other varieties. They are very delicious. There is a roadside seller near me that I know personally and they make for a good meal with some refried beans, genuine Spanish rice and a salad with a hint of cilantro. Wash it down with a good Mexican beer and you will not regret!
When I lived in Mexico one summer in 1970, Bohemia was my favorite beer...and it was only .12 cents a bottle at my favorite hangout.
