Woman: "Lifeguard come quick, there's a little boy peeing in the pool"

Lifeguard: Well, boys will be boys."

Woman: "Yes I agree, but off the high dive?"

Two guys walking down the street see a kids name written in pee in the snow.

1st guy: Oh no! This is terrible.

2nd guy: What? Every boy has done that.

1st guy: Yeah, but that's my daughter's handwriting.

Why would that be Clackers? Looks like anyone would love corned beef?

I made bacon, scrambled eggs( with Velveeta!), buttermilk biscuits, waffles, potato patties and a fruit salad for dinner tonight. I can barely breathe now I ate so much. There was enough leftover for the Mama Raccon to eat as much as we did...she's going to have babies, so I have to make sure she gets plenty every night...and she does!

Regards!

Outta here.....old people have good days and "old days". Today was an old day...no rhyme or reason can explain them, they just show up and throw you a curve. All you can do is take a dose of that red shoe polish, hope for a good nights sleep, and wait for tomorrow.......

Anyone else have such unexplained bouts....young or old?

Regards!

Yep, it beats me....it's like body bi-polar. One day you're good the next you're not. What changed? Nothing you can think of, nothing but the new day.
Of course, it is also depressing, which compounds the misery.
I've started some big projects on those good days......only to ask a bad day later...what the hell was I thinking?

Can't say this morning if the bad day is gone....need more coffee and about an hour of meditation reminding myself to stay away from the news and politics...and those damn squirrels!

Regards!

BTW- Jim, last night I used some of that Thai Curry on my scrambled eggs and it was delicious. If you haven't tried it, you might want to. Forget it on waffles........it doesn't work there!

Now, in my mature years, I get kind of freaked out if I have a totally pain or ache free day.
But I'll take the aches and pains over the possible alternative any day.

Agree 100%, but it is so baffling how those great days "just appear" with no rhyme or reason?

Here is something baffling I just watched this morning....

Henry squirrel, not known for his intelligence, got out early enough to get some peanuts before the Jays. He was proud of this big one and promptly took it over to the bird bath where he spent a few minutes digging a hole and burying it. He then jumped up on the bird bath, got a drink, came back down and circled the rocks surrounding the bird bath three times....then stepped inside the circle, dug up the peanut and ate it???

All I can figure is that he wanted it protected while he got a drink? You think? Maybe he is not as dumb as Otis claims? I have seen Jays steal a peanut right out of the grasp of an unsuspecting squirrel....

Regards!

Covering your nuts is always a good idea, right Henry?

I was sitting on the deck looking at the daffodil I had put in an old Pepsi bottle.
Noticed the 12 oz stamp, and it got me to thinking......
In the old days an eight or twelve ounce soda pop was the standard, and most of us only had one occasionally .
What size are Big Gulps etc these days?
