How do you find this stuff?

I spend far too much time on the internet.

In fact, I've been to the end, and back.

Many times.

Well, it fits your name. As long as he stays in Scotland, Otis sees no problem that concerns him.

If he gets over this way he can get acquainted with the Devil Squirrel, who has a real taste for exotic foreign food.

There aren't all that many foxes.......but there are billions and billions of squirrels......do the math!

The average Eastern fox squirrel (I assume its name appropriately labels it as a food source) measures 45 to 70 cm in length and weighs between 500 and 1000g. The average Red fox (Vulpes vulpes) is 45 to 90 cm long and weighs between 2.2 and 14 kg [Editor's note: Holy moly, I would have expected this comparison to be way more favourable for the foxes. How massive are these squirrels, or how small are foxes?!].

The task force only accepts the most magnificent specimens, mind you. And you know what they say about foxes - they are cunning and creative. With an advantage in size, intellect and the particular weapons of the carnivore, the squirrels would be hard pressed, even with a numerical superiority Otis better intensify his army training.

P.S. In Japan the kitsune is actually held to not only be very smart and usually well-meaning, but also possess some magical abilities, including shape shifting into humans. Maybe I should spend some time training in Japan before I commence my invasion of Rupert's yard.

Naw.....just come on over....if you still believe that numbers don't matter.

Otis said he has never eaten a fox....but he'd like to try one!

Be careful, FMF! While our cousins the kitsune are powerful, some of them are mischievous or even cruel. A feud with the squirrel clan could quickly get out of control. While I have no doubt that a Kyūbi no Kitsune, a mighty nine-tailed fox, would be a match for a even an eternal squirrel, I fear what the impact would be on the human world.

Hey ...I enjoyed it too! Racer probably won't appreciate that I appreciated it......It took an award from Otis to even get me a Thanks from Racer...and I had to wait hours for that ....and then most of that Thanks was for Otis.

Otis finds the culinary possibilities of a nine tailed fox most intriguing!

I'm sticking with the numbers, there are billions and billions of squirrels, and I know the power of just a few irritating mosquitoes, so numbers can make all the difference.

Been over in some over thread...somewhere...I move around a lot...I am noticing that my old SMC 4.5 80-200 MF lens is sitting dangerously close to the edge in my lens cabinet. I'm not even certain I can open the door fully without it falling?

Reckon it would be too much too soon asking Mrs Rupert for that new 70-200 FF lens? You know...if it did fall? I think they are about the same value......anyhow that's my guess? Surely she would be sympathetic for an old guy with two broken feet?

She does say I'm "special"......in a funny sort of way.......

I think Otis is getting a little bit cocky based on the fact that he is separated from the Scottish and Japanese foxes by two massive oceans. If he saw one peeking over the fence I assume he would very quickly reconsider his culinary preferences and take steps in order to ensure he does not end up as one himself
