Ha! Ha! I already did even before the knee work. My right shoulder is titanium and looks like a holstered pistol to the walk-through x-ray scanner. I always get the pat-down.

Dang! You're right!

I see the doctor this morning and he is going to get an earful. They told me it was just a tiny chip...warranty purposes...

Well, that is strange...I remember a few months back someone complained that I had never ponied up the entrance fee. Perhaps that sparked an investigation of sorts. I have clicked through to order on various occasions...

Maybe that's my problem, it's not 'Chronic Migraine Induced Olfactory Lobe Damage' I think I was sedated and chipped with a hociR. But it has left me with a super power, I can smell Everything.

As I understand it, cartilage, likes shots in the film canister, gets used up.
Yes, cartilage does tend to disappear with use and I gave it plenty of encouragement over the years. I have been bone-on-bone since 1990 and it was finally time for a refitting.

So far things look good. I am a week out from the procedure and am having very little pain. I have been off the narcotics since last Friday and can walk around (carefully) without crutches or walker. PT says my range of motion is progressing well and we are working on training the muscles to the new/better joint alignment. It will be good to do low level photos without worrying whether I will be able to get back up without assistance

I had a hemi-arthroplasty May of 2012. The humeral head was replaced with an implant leaving the socket portion of the joint as it was. Over all, it has worked well. I was in constant pain (3-5 spiking to 8+) due to severe arthritis before the surgery with very little pain now when doing activities of daily living.

Range of motion is better than before the procedure, but still much more limited than normal. I still have trouble getting my elbow above my shoulder and am weak on that side. The only real problem I have had is that, I have developed some instability of the joint that crops up during the night. When I am asleep it tends to slip out of joint...painful. If I were to do it over, I would have them do a full arthroplasty and replace both ball and socket.

Everything stinks? That does not sound good.

I saw that Otis just made a note of those comments....and when he starts passing out the K1 he said he will be sure to remember that you guys are happy just as you are.....

You can't please everyone.....but for those you do it makes it worth the effort.

Mrs Rupert is near impossible to please.....I buy her silver, she wants gold. I buy her gold she wants diamonds. I buy her diamonds she wants pearls. I buy her pearls she wants cash. So....I hack her brokerage accounts, steal a bundle of cash for her and enough to pay me back for the silver, gold, diamonds, and pearls.......makes me happy!

Regards!

Lol, I smell everything the way it supposed to smell but can smell it in smaller amounts so when people walk past me in a store, I can go up aisles they walked up and actually smell where they stopped and picked out an item. The detergent aisle is unbreathable for me. I can't use most scented products. When I go into buildings, I can smell people, perfume, the elevators, the horrid air fresheners they put through the air-conditioning system, it's like an assault and instant migraine. I am a human blood hound.

I can send you a couple of my raccoons and you will be cured likkity-split. You will carry that overwhelming scent with you for days...or longer...and nothing else gets past it. I keep my distance.

Not true, Bob. The prohibition is against learning (or teaching) anything useful.
