There was a cartoon like that! Guy with shotgun trying to get rid of a fly in the house. Kept missing and got a fly flying and no house at all.

I'm having trouble understanding why any of us with joint pain and misery opt for surgery and therapy when every day on Yahoo News I see articles where a guy is selling little pills that can cure us in no time. The testimonials are convincing......"My knee hurt so bad I sawed my leg off...and after two weeks of these Wonder Pills, my leg grew back and I am now pain free!"

Bald? What seems to be the same guy sells an ointment that also has some great testimonials...."I was as slick as a billiard ball and after only 30 days, I am forced to go to the barber twice a week just to keep up with the rapid thick growth."

Loss of bladder control? He has us covered......One guy in the testimonial hasn't peed in over a year after starting his daily regimen of magic elixir!

I guess we are just too dumb for our own good?

On this date in 2013 we got a little snow.

But I still fired up the grill.

Since we're sharing our ills, that's as far back as I can tilt my head due to osteoarthritis in my neck.

That's the kind of dedication I like to see!

Not good! My old Doc had the same/similar problem and couldn't turn his head from side to side. He had DISH disease in the upper spine. I have the same in the spinal area below my neck and between my shoulders. Mine results in "cold spots" between my shoulder blades at the center of my back....drives me insane at times...other times it is not present. High humidity actives the misery.

He lived with it for years....died from cancer two years ago. Hell of a great guy.

I am thankful I am not worse......it could be, but is not likely to get worse for reasons unknown.

We live without ailments....it's not fun and it limits us in many ways....but we're still going!

I suffer from Avascular Necrosis.

It sucks getting old, after having played and worked hard for so many years.

I had a Rupert recommended chicken salad kit from Aldi for lunch, pretty darn tasty!
But I had to supplement it with half a brownswagger, sandwich.

I think this has been successfully used on squirrel hunts on several occasions.

Eastern Grays, maybe, but I wouldn't go after Texas Fox Squirrels with anything less than my trusty squirrel rifle:

That's what I had for breakfast...Aldi Chicken Salad and some kind of little cheese wedge I got there the other day. Not bad stuff!

Well, you don't need a shoulder strap for it, do you!

I'm trying to imagine this.....Otis said he would pack it with about 600 squirrels (he has plenty) and then run like hell when it blew apart.

Just a quick question......You guys ever have days when you are in a really foul mood, and have no reason to be? Damn I hate days like this. I want to snap at everyone and everything....except Otis, of course....I know better.

I'm tryin my best.....But if I get kicked off today will you guys try to bail me out? Not right away....give yourselves a few days break first.

Regards!

You mean other days than Mondays? Sorry, of course you did. You said for "no reason". Mondays don't qualify for "no reason".

Yes, yes I do have days like that, but not too often on Saturdays and Sundays.

Maybe I didn't sleep well...which is not unusual...or maybe the subconscious is working overtime? It's up to me to control it, but it isn't easy. I feel like fighting, but at my age and condition, I'd get my butt kicked in a heartbeat.....Even Mrs Rupert could take me, but I sure as hell don't want her to know that...or she will!

Regards!
