Well, I wasn't around much today. I, unfortunately, had to spend part of the day actually working. (I hate when that happens) and most of the rest of the day BSing with a BIA Special Agent.
Basically a face to face version of this thread.

It's the Bureau of Indian Affairs version of the FBI.
This guy is one of my customers, but we can spend hours talking about just about everything other than bicycles. Mostly guns, shooting, and politics though.

I took the goodies home to share. We put the chops and half of the brisket in the freezer, the other half will be this weekend's supper in various forms.
We sampled a bit of it and the last time I tasted anything that good it was ribs from a place in Granbury, Texas.

Indians and politics.....that must be very interesting! I've been avoiding politics as much as possible. Mrs Rupert has been heavily involved and I don't want to cross here in any way...you know, she is 1/4 Cherokee, and when she gets passionate about something, I step aside for sake of my own well being!

The brisket is always good.....but the chops came from heaven! I do not like their sauce...too salty...tell me your opinion?
I debated on sending the pork tenderloin...also from heaven...but the chops are my favorite.
Regards!

NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
If there is any justice in the world (well the world of PF) the mighty m0duIator ought to ban you until you have caught up.
We have had to take our medicine and so ought you too.

Welcome back!

Just mutter "Cheese bacon squirrel cheese bacon squirrel cheese bacon squirrel cheese bacon squirrel cheese bacon squirrel cheese bacon squirrel cheese bacon squirrel" to yourself for about a day and a half while your kids look at you funny. The overall effect is the same.

Oh, and on the rest of PF - there's some vague rumor floating around that Pentax may be shipping a new camera soon, but not much has been said about it.

Well I had a crappy April 1st.

Still sick.

Missed 3 days of work.

Mrs. Racer decided we needed gravel on the stretch of shared road that runs from our property to the end of the road, and it had to happen today. Should have been two, maybe three truckloads. The kid that was running the dump truck was inexperienced and it took four loads. And instead of spreading it evenly he dropped it in piles.

I worked some of it out with my old Ford tractor (the motor grader is broken at the moment), but had to break off to go to work. The neighbor asked if he could finish the grading using my Ford, but I really didn't want him on it. I reluctantly agreed, but told him I needed to put gas in it first. Before I could get out to the shop and grab a jug of gas he had already done so.

The idiot put gas in the dang radiator!

I didn't have time to deal with it, so in the morning I gotta drain the cooling system and flush it out. Then I have to try and move 30 tons of gravel from several piles over 1/8 mile of road.

Grrrrrr!!!!!!

And on my way to work I swear it was Friday the 13th!

So many stoopit people were out today.

And some moron was moving a trailer house without a permit, and ripped the axles out from under it going through a roundabout. Blocked traffic in all directions.

Idiots!

Everywhere!

No wonder I won't buy a K3.

Ugh!

To borrow from my dad, so long as he wakes up on the right side of the dirt, he's doing pretty well.

I have to.

There is equipment to repair and 30 tons of gravel to push around.

You have an odd idea of what 'fun' is.
