So I want a camera that senses what I want to photograph, sets itself up and makes the shot, processes it, prints the image, frames it and then hangs it on the wall.

All without any effort on my part.

I don even want to take it out of the bag.

Is that too much to ask?

maybe.

but how about one that doesn't necessitate your thinking what you want to photograph?
so, you are walking down a path looking at the tangled undergrowth on one side - not even glancing at the other - and bang, the camera jumps out of the bag, changes to a wide angle lens and takes a magnificent shot of the waterfall that you didn't even see. See!

Got in a bit of a kerfuffle with russia and a misplaced weather balloon. So you know, WWIII-prevention. Sorry.
Again?! Can't you guys and up a single rocket without causing international incidents?

Can you afford it?

Although prices are not published, I would wager that these things cost considerably more than their commercial airliner cousins.
I might have to have a talk with my boss, but...

Hey. Of the several thousand we've sent up from Andøya, only like, five have almost started WWIII. That's not so bad, right?

Hmm, I wonder whether Plastic Bertrand had longevity in Belgium ...

When Plastic Bertrand was popular we had a fella from Canada at my school. Although he had a French sounding name and was a native speaker of French he got less on the French test than those of us who were English speaking Australiennes. I had always associated Plastic with Canada.

So, you want a camera that takes the fun out of photography.

What's the point?

Some on the forum complain vehemently that pressing a green button takes the fun out of photography

I can agree that the green dial takes the fun out of photography. But when I'm out skiing after shooting a concert the night prior, sometimes the green button makes resetting a little easier.

I've flown in a couple models of Embraer RJs, and a couple Bombardiers. One Bombardier was not too bad; two of the others were cramped, and one Embraer was extremely cramped - I had to sit at an angle to get my legs to even fit behind the seat in front of me, with my knees hard against the seatback. Fortunately, it was a <1 hr flight.

On one of the flights, the airline logos on the bulkheads were not the airline I bought the tickets from, nor the airline operating the flight. I think the plane was stolen.
Ok, the only one I've travelled with had a (non-airline) company logo on it. And rather comfy swivel chairs.

Have a slice of my applewood smoked, sausage in the middle meatloaf and get back to important topics, please.
No bacon involved, so maybe even Bert might take a bite.
