So I want a camera that senses what I want to photograph, sets itself up and makes the shot, processes it, prints the image, frames it and then hangs it on the wall.

All without any effort on my part.

I don even want to take it out of the bag.

Is that too much to ask?
That's actually a pretty reasonable request compared to some in News & Rumors or the FF/K-1 forums.
A month or two back one member went on quite a tirade about how Pentax didn't put out any information on the K1. Not even enough information that the K1 would show up on Google searches. I enlightened him to the magic that is Google.
I told him to try searching for the actual name of the camera. K-1.

Jumpers?
Most jumpers don't actually own a camera, but if they did they would want to switch to another brand. They don't have any photos to share because they don't take photos, they just criticize the ones others take. The main obstacle to their ladder of success is always Pentax. If Pentax made the kind of camera they imagine others to make, they would be famous by now...instead of being picked apart and slaughtered by a tiny squirrel.

It's such a bizarre story. Everyone who had some interest in music owned his record in South Africa. He was as big as, if not bigger than Dylan.

So, you want a camera that takes the fun out of photography.

What's the point?

My point exactly.

Me?

I use full manual mode almost exclusively.

Sometimes I use bulb, for obvious reasons.

I don't 'take' photos.

I steal light, a fraction or two of a second at a time.

It is also a good illustration of how the music industry "takes care of" the artists. Rodriguez selling loads of records in SA without knowing it, and somehow without a dime if the income ever reaching him.

I'm not one who watches moving pictures much in any form, but that is one film I could watch once more.

Amazing that he missed this for "Obi K-1 camera" in a google search ...
