'Tusk'-eege Airmen.

A great story, that, a bit like the WW2 version of the Matthew Broderick film 'Glory'.

There should be, to fit in with 'Memphis Belle' and 'Twelve O'Clock High'.

Naturally, Morgan Freeman's character would narrate over the storyline.

I wish I'd have had a K1 with me while helping make giant green triangles. I'd have loved to have some bacon too.

I like that.

If you can, watch the recent four-part BBC adaptation of 'War and Peace', BTW.
That sounds interesting. I really liked reading Tolstoy, and saw the older 26 part BBC version (late 70s). Always struck me as funny how the good shows like that never run on repeat but the junky stuff does.

And someone mentioned 12 o'clock high, have not heard of that since I was young. Used to be on TV every afternoon after school. Reminds me I once worked in a library with an ex B17 mid gunner, who flew out of England. He later worked for Westinghouse brake manufacturer. Really nice man.

Twelve O'clock High was one of my favorites.

I never saw that, Tim, I was more thinking of the film with Gregory Peck.

Before he was the hero dad Atticus Finch he was an Air Force general having a nervous breakdown.

It is a game called Ingress which is played on your phone using your data signal and GPS. It gets you out and active too, kind of alike an augmented reality game and electronic geocaching all in one where you battle against real world people by capturing portals, linking them to make control fields (that's the big green triangle), and destroying the other teams portals and control fields. If you want an invite I can send it so i can get credit when you hit level 3. Remember, join the Enlightened (the green team) because we are awesome.

I am about to go up to the cafeteria here at work and get an omelet. Bacon too.

Even squirrels are asking questions?

Looky here!

Hi gail, you have a package coming tomorrow.
Estimated Delivery Date: Saturday, 05/07/2016 UPS

Gotta get out shopping today and get my new outfit.....silk shirt, fancy pants, alligator shoes/belt etc. I want to be ready to turn Pro as soon as I get it out of the box!
You guys remember, I'll be the same old Rupert so don't go treating me any different. Sure, you will gasp a little at my fantastic shots, but otherwise not much will change.
You should see the squirrels competing for being still and becoming the first Pixel Shifted squirrel.....some can already freeze for as long as two minutes...just in case I need to take several backup shots.....it could take a few minutes to get to the Pro level.

I too was a big fan of 12 0'clock High. When I was a kid there was an old B36 at what was then Amon Carter Field in Ft Worth/Euless. It sat out in the front entry by itself and we used to sneak into it and explore. Spent many days in there and we got to know every inch of it. I still recall all the bombing runs we made......I think we destroyed most of the world. Back in those days Washington was not as hated as it seems today, but I do recall we bombed it anyhow. We bombed everything on the map, Rick Brewer even bombed our home base once, keeping us airborne for days while they repaired the runway. We had plenty of snacks so it wasn't a problem.
We got caught waving to cars coming to the terminal from the cockpit windows and they bolted it up and ended our summer of fun. If we had of had some petrol and nuclear bombs, most of you wouldn't be here today!

I'm jealous! As a kid I loved pictures of the Peacemaker, with its backward propellers.

I got an invitation for that back when it was launched. Never got around to play, though. Not sure if I got as far as picking a team... Maybe we're enemies?

If it's one tenth as complicated as it sounds, then it's way over my head.
I haven't "gamed" since Frogger on my son's Atari, and I was killer at that game!
frog killer that is.
