10 hours and I'm still in here all alone. This being a Pro is not working out for me. I have been abandoned and my friends no longer like me...some like Racer even took up going to work just to avoid me....imagine that.

I'm thinking I should just go back to my damaged K5IIs and take this K1 on down to Goodwill donations where it can ruin someone elses life.

If you need to donate it then the Scotty Fund would be a good place to send it. I would use the money I saved be having no friends to feed the wild animals!

Nah, I think you just need some bacon and all will be well. Haven't you ever read the book How to Win Friends and Influence People with Bacon?

Are you saying I should bacon-wrap my K1? You know, that's not a half bad idea!

Sorry Jim, but going to work has nothing to do with my pals here at Pentax Forums.

To be clear, work is what it takes so I can pay the mortgage off for this:

So get out there and explore the possibilities of that new camera!

Nice HDR....and I love your place! Mrs Rupert has seen the photos before and adores the wraparound porch...one of her most favored items in a home.
I don't have anything like that.. I have no mortgage but do have 30+years of mortgage payments in the bank. So instead of work I just play around with my K1 and feed the animals! Anyhow, with two broken feet I couldn't do much work anyhow.

I will go to your thread and join.....they probably won't like it but I'll do it anyhow just for you!

Regards!

Got to say this....the K1 is fun! On a dark and wet morning I usually can't get any shots until close to noon...if then. The Bigma would refuse to focus in AF and after it was damaged MF was not possible in the dark scenery.

Not so with the K1....focused instantly...and I mean instantly...

ISO 12,800- Some very slight noise removal in processing.

ISO 10,000 No noise removal in or out of camera.

Forgot to mention...loved that 2nd shot! What lens?

Racer, I think I joined but don't know. Where are the discussions...the purty pictures....how does it work over there?

Regards!

Just had a liver sausage sandwich for lunch.
First ingredient listed is pork snouts, so you know it has to be good!
Oberle Meats says they've made sausage since the 1870's.
Located in Ste. Genevieve, MO, founded in 1735.

Pic of the package taken with cell phone, so not sure if it will show up, please let me know if it doesn't.
edit, went another route, should show now.
