Mr. Johnson may always be right, but this was in the list of suggested videos after I viewed the affirmation or Messrs. Johnson.

I really like this one, especially the latter half with the Datsun 240Z challenge.

I'm still kickin'......been a busy few days. The graduation was fine...with some exception........you know, even old Rupert knows it rains in Oregon...a lot....so this big High School held their graduation outside on the football field. Nothing like sitting in the stands two hours during a rainstorm...I guarantee!

Went to the Oregon coast....saw lighthouses Mrs Rupert wanted to see.....never seen a more gorgeous coastline. Ate the best fried clams I have ever eaten at a little place in Newport. Great time at our son's place in Albany......He has a large old home in the historical district built in the late 1800s and we really enjoyed the visit and exploring their home..... and their two snapping doggies!

Took some shots...Mrs Rupert did more with her X10.....Big bulky FF cameras and lenses are...big and bulky! Not the best for a walk around tourist with two broken feet and a twisted knee.

Anyhow, we are near Salt Lake City headed home. It's a damn long trip......damn long! Too damn long...won't do this again.

That's about it......more when I have it......just want to get back home, but it will be a couple of more days.

Best Regards!

BTW-We stayed in Reno last night and the place we ate breakfast had some of the best country cut smoked bacon I have ever eaten. I'm almost certain it would have cured young Bert.

The best clams are the ones you dig yourself, dress out and fry up fresh!

Let them spit for a bit:

Pour boiling water over to scald them:

Beauty, eh?

Ready for some panko and a quick visit to the skillet with butter and garlic.

Sorry.

No photos of them finished.

When they come out of the skillet and drain on the paper towel for a minute there just isn't time to be messing around making photos.

Nope.

Pour a glass of your favorite liquid accompaniment, drop a half dozen on the plate with some corn on the cob and toasted French roll and chow down!

Woot! Woot!

Indeed! I believe he's not even a pig - unlike some among the rest of us

There certainly won't be if Otis retains possession.
