You're only 11 years older than I Jim. Like a big brother.
I never had a little brother...just two sisters. They claim I had a little brother and cut him up and ate him to avoid competition...and tried to do the same with them...only half of that story is true. I would never harm my brother...if I had one.

And we share the same surname, so it could happen.
Didn't know that! Small world! It's a good name.....I've tried to make it proud....sorta?

And the Firecracker 400 is underway in Daytona Florida. Right this moment the in car camera is coming from this car:

Owned by the King, Richard Petty, and driven by Aric Almirola, the car is (appropriately) POWERED BY BACON!

Of course, at this point it is anybody's race. Daytona is an unforgiving lady, 2 1/2 miles around with high banks. Drivers running in a tight pack, wide open throttle at more than 200 miles an hour. One wrong move and many will get caught in the 'big one'.

Will Almirola deliver for the King?

Stay tuned folks, and we'll have the answer in 400 miles!

This just in:

Just past halfway, Keselowski leads. The 'big one' still has yet to happen.

More later . . . . . .

And the 'big one' happens, on lap 89.

Jimmie Johnson, driving for Hendrick Motorsports gets into Jamie McMurray, and nearly half of the 40 car field is involved.

Carnage.

NASCAR confirms 22 cars were involved in that wreck. More than half of the field.
