Saw another metric speed limit sign in W Texas on our trip......Yep, it was blown so full of holes you could barely make out that it was a sign at all.

Using metric terms here can get you put in jail...or shot full of holes...or both.

I am naturally a big proponent of the metric system, because it makes SENSE, but I would make an exception in space:

Today the IMSA series is running the 6 Hours at Watkins Glen in upstate New York.

Fresh from the Le Mans 24 Hour race in France many of the same teams are now competing on a much shorter course, for only a quarter of the time.

That's what it would be like if we all had cars like the Jestons flying cars. Was that guy a bit impatient.

The F1 Prima Donnas are all just a bit impatient.

And narcissistic.

Been feeling like something isn't quite right here at PF lately, just not clicking as usual, and like no one is watching over my shoulder like they should. It has sort of made me uncomfortable...but today all is well, and I feel just like old times have come back around! Many thanks to the Mod that welcomed me back into the fold with a reminder that I am not totally ignored (as Otis claims) and I do have value here...even if it is negative!

I feel like my old self again.....and as always will try to do better.....at least until 8/2/16!

I also got a PM from Otis Squirrel....parts of it were fit to be posted here.....I'd post it all but then I would be in danger of a lifetime ban.....

".........Rupert, you filthy minded slug, you are a disgrace to those at PF that have a little common decency, are not interested in trashy women, and are here for the educational and instructional value, not lessons on attracting sleazy women. Consider that little blind orphan squirrels are here daily for entertainment and photo viewing and not to formulate questions for me to answer about filthy posts your type seems to think are post worthy.

I would request a lifetime ban for you, and with my great relationship with most of the Mods here (I did say "most") they would be happy to oblige. However, having you around is a measure for the mentally impaired and the filthy perverts, to compare themselves to you and realize they are no where near your class of insanity and perversion....and never want to be.

As disgusting as you are.....thanks for the six pack of cold beer you left at the trunk of my penthouse tree.....and that girls gone wild video....."

Beast Regards
Otis Squirrel

Rupert, do not get yourself ostracised or exiled. That would be sad for all of us.

I have happy memories of Daytona Beach, even if it had nothing to do with the cars.

Never been there...but I have been to Cocoa beach and have very fond memories of it. I can't tell you about them until after 8/2/16.

How hot is it here today? I lined the fence with giant roasted peanuts and not a taker has shown up...not a squirrel, not a jay...nothing. You can scramble eggs on the sidewalk...and the humidity is a killer too.

8/2/16? Is that when the statute of limitations is invoked?

Otis says it means if they can't find a rope and tree by 8/2/16, I'm home free until I mess up again.

You know, I really thought people would be interested in trashy women.....it never dawned on me that they might not be?
I guess that is where I messed up.....?

Regards!
